Ports of Call

Piraeus aka Athens

As the birthplace of democracy, Athens is packed with history, highlighted by the iconic Parthenon on the Acropolis. Its lively Plaka neighborhood offers charming streets, local tavernas, and a vibrant atmosphere steeped in history.

Like most Greek cruises this one starts in Greece. I recommend flying in the day before. For those that get in early we will be going to the Acropolis followed by a dinner at a rooftop restaurant so we can enjoy Greek food while watching the sunset over the Acropolis.

Istanbul

Straddling two continents, Istanbul is a captivating blend of East and West, where you can marvel at the iconic Hagia Sophia, a former church and mosque now a museum, and explore the bustling Grand Bazaar, one of the oldest and largest covered markets in the world. Its rich history as the capital of the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires makes it a cultural treasure trove. We are working on a phenomenal private excursion here for our group. It’s a one day Istanbul tour!

An ancient Greek city in Turkey, Ephesus is home to the remarkably well-preserved Library of Celsus and the massive Great Theatre, which could seat 25,000 spectators. It was once a major center for early Christianity and the site of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Mykonos

Mykonos City

Famous for its whitewashed buildings and vibrant nightlife, Mykonos offers stunning beaches, picturesque windmills, and a lively atmosphere. The charming neighborhood of Little Venice, where buildings sit right on the water’s edge, is perfect for a sunset cocktail.

Rhodes

Boats docked on the shore of Fethiye, Turkey, one of the best day trips from Rhodes.

Famous for its medieval Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Rhodes boasts the Palace of the Grand Master and remnants of the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The island also offers stunning beaches and crystal-clear waters.

Santorini

Known for its breathtaking caldera views and iconic blue-domed churches, Santorini was shaped by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century BC. The island’s sunsets over Oia are some of the most photographed in the world.

Chania aka Crete

As Greece’s largest island, Crete is rich in ancient history and natural beauty, home to the Palace of Knossos, which dates back to the Minoan civilization. Its diverse landscape includes stunning beaches, rugged mountains, and the dramatic Samaria Gorge.
