7 Fantastic Portland Food Carts
At this point, I would guess that there are over 500 food carts in Portland and just like restaurants they can be hit or miss. So, today I am sharing a few of my favorite Portland food carts. I’ll start out with my favorite cart currently, Gumba.
- Gumba
Gumba is unbelievably good. Honestly, I cannot believe a food cart can produce this quality of food. They create pasta that will knock your socks off.
2. Beez Neez Gourmet Sausages
Beez Neez Gourmet Sausages are incredible. I know it’s hard to believe but they really are. They have Alaskan reindeer sausages, German bratwurst, Polish dogs, and even vegan hotdogs. All of them are $6 or less and served in a perfectly toasted bun with grilled jalapeños and caramelized onions if you want. They offer an array of toppings including chipotle ketchup, apple sauerkraut, assorted mustards and hot sauces.

Monday- Thursday 11:00 am – 4:00pm
Friday-Saturday 11:00am – 3:00am
3. Koi Fusion
Koi Fusion is Korean Mexican food. That may sound weird and it is, but more importantly, it’s awesome. They have multiple locations, including two carts that move around town a lot. Check their website to see where they are on any given day.
They have a permanent location at Bridgeport Village right across from the movie theater. If you let them know that you are going to be sneaking their tacos into the theater they will wrap them up real good!
I always get the same thing, tacos with Kalbi Short Ribs: Fall-off-the-bone tender short rib meat, marinated in Mama Kwon’s secret sauce, grilled to perfection, then deboned and shredded, and kimchi.

4. Cheese Grill Cheese – I do not like grilled cheese, well I didn’t. That all changed when this food cart showed up at an event I was at! Turns out I love gourmet grill cheese sandwiches! They use Tillamook cheese.
I believe I had the BLT for $6.75, which did include the chips. A friend of mine loves their soup, but I’ve yet to try it.
5. PDX Sliders
PDX Sliders has the most amazing sliders. Their food cart shows up at fun things like the Portland Night Market. If you can’t wait to find the food cart, they have a permanent location on Division. 
6. Chop Chop Chicken Sundae – This is kind of an odd creation. Basically chicken and rice, but so much more because of all the ad-ins!
7. CHAR Latin Grill – TACOS! They’ve got great tacos and bowls. Located at the Happy Valley food cart pod.
